After wedding information
First of all, congrats!!! You're married! I hope your day was just as magical as you imagined. You're probably wondering what's next. When will the photos come? What do we do with the photos once we get them? Don't worry, I'm here to guide you.
when will the photos be done?
The contract says your photos will be delivered 2 months from the wedding date at the latest. I always try my best to get them done as soon as possible, but it just depends on how far along wedding season is and how busy I am. I frequently post preview photos on my Instagram or Facebook after the wedding, so be sure to follow along to see a sneak peek. Your photos will be delivered via an online gallery and you'll be able to download the high-resolution files right from the gallery.
what do i do with my photos once i get them?
Once your online gallery is delivered to you, I'd suggest downloading the photos right away and backing them up. Your online gallery will be up for a long time, but you'll want to make sure you have those files in multiple places in case of technology failure. I'd suggest keeping them on at least on 2 separate flash drives.
If prints are something you'd like, you can either print them yourself or order professional prints through your online gallery. If you'd like to see some examples of the prints, please visit the Prints & Albums page. If you plan on printing your photos yourself, I'd recommend Mpix, rather than Walgreens or something similar.
Something else to think about is an album. There's no better way to view your photos than in an album. It's classic, it'll last forever, and it creates an experience out of viewing your photos. It's so much more enjoyable to be crowded around your album with some friends reliving your wedding day than huddling around your iPhone. Please visit the Prints & Albums page to learn more about ordering an album. And even if you don't order an album through me, I'd recommend looking into Artifact Uprising and creating one yourself.
You're also more than welcome to post them on social media. In fact, I encourage it! If you wouldn't mind including a link to either my Instagram or Facebook page in the description, I would really appreciate it.
Word of mouth & reviews
I get most of my weddings from word of mouth, so if you were happy with your experience with me, I would absolutely love if you'd tell your friends about me! And if they're your friends, I know they would be awesome clients and I'd be so excited to work with them!
I would also love to know what you thought of me, whether it be good or bad. I'm always looking for ways to improve! There are two places to leave reviews: Yelp and WeddingWire. And feel free to just copy and paste your review to both sites, it would really help me out a lot!
