Downloading from the gallery

Your gallery will give you the option to download both high-resolution photos and web-sized photos. Web-sized photos are perfect for sharing online to social media, while high-resolution photos are best for printing and preserving your photos at full quality.

High-resolution photos are fully accessible during the first year your gallery is live. After that, they are moved to long-term storage and may take a little bit longer to download. Because of this, I always recommend downloading all of your high-resolution photos early on and saving them to an external hard drive. Web-sized photos are always available for immediate download.

Backing up your photos

Your online gallery will remain available long-term, but I am only responsible for safely storing your images for 6 months after delivery. After that point, it’s important that you have your photos saved in your own secure locations.

I always recommending downloading your photos and backing them up in more than one place such as your computer, an external hard drive, or a cloud-based storage system. Having multiple backups ensures your photos are protected for years to come.

Prints and albums

You have the option to order professional quality prints through your online gallery. You’ll receive a print release with your photos, which allows you to print your images on your own if you’d prefer. Just keep in mind that print quality can vary depending on which lab you choose and I cannot be responsible for the quality of those photos.

If you’re interested in an album, those are ordered directly through me. Each album is designed by hand using your photos and created to be something you can keep and pass down over time. You can view my album options and order here.

Retouching

Each photo in your gallery is carefully edited to reflect my overall style while still keeping things natural and true to how the day felt. My goal is for you to look like yourselves in your photos.

Things like small blemishes, temporary marks, or minor distractions are typically taken care of as I’m editing your gallery.

If you have a specific request or want more extensive retouching, such as adding or removing people, I’m always happy to take a look and let you know what’s possible. Additional retouching is available for $20 per photo.

Vendor sharing

About a week after your full gallery is delivered, I’ll share the gallery with the vendors who were a part of your day so they can use the images for their portfolios. Sharing photos like this is often how future couples find and connect with amazing vendors like yours.
